SAI (South American Initiative), a compassionate non-profit, ensures that rescued dogs in Venezuela receive essential medical attention. In this image, a veterinarian in a black uniform carefully administers an injection to a dog, demonstrating SAI’s dedication to animal health. A second individual gently holds the dog steady, reinforcing the care and professionalism behind each treatment. The brick-wall setting and window suggest a dedicated veterinary space where animals receive life-saving interventions. Through generous donations and volunteer support, SAI continues to provide vaccinations, medical aid, and nutritional care to protect and improve the lives of rescued animals in need.
Welcome Dr. Tariba

In Q2 (April, May, June) SAI’s animal rescue program distributed 3,575 Lbs (65 bags) of dog food for the dogs in the SAI-A&G Sanctuary. 3,795 lbs (69 bags) of dog food were distributed among the 18 partner shelters that receive SAI-A&G support. Total: 7,370 Lbs of dog food! (134 bags)

We are thrilled to have Dr. Tariba, our new veterinarian join us at SAI! His extensive experience in veterinary medicine will be a great asset to our organization. He has implemented innovative approaches that help maintain the well-being of our animals while also making operations more efficient.

Also, we recently installed a covered rain gazebo in our front yard, providing our beloved pets with a sheltered space to relax and stay dry during rainy days. To add comfort, we placed dog benches.

Thank you for your continued support, become a monthly donor and let´s work toward a brighter future for all dogs in Venezuela.
