Venezuela's healthcare system was already struggling with chronic shortages before the earthquake of June 24th, 2026 struck central Venezuela. Now, hospitals treating the wounded are running critically low on the medicines and medical supplies needed to save lives.
At facilities like the Dr. Adolfo Prince Lara Hospital in Puerto Cabello, doctors and nurses are performing surgeries on a growing number of

earthquake victims with almost nothing left to work with. Basic medicines, pediatric lines, surgical dressings, and specialized equipment for treating the wounded are in dangerously short supply — and without them, injuries that could be treated safely instead put patients at serious risk of infection and death.
The SAI Foundation is on the ground, working directly with hospital staff to identify exactly what is needed most and delivering supplies as fast as possible. But the scale of the crisis is growing, and hospitals across the affected region need continued support to keep treating patients.
Your donation helps fund the purchase and delivery of essential medicines and medical supplies — including antibiotics, wound care materials, surgical equipment, and pediatric treatment supplies — sent directly to hospitals caring for earthquake victims.
Every contribution helps a doctor complete a surgery, a nurse treat a wound before infection sets in, and a family keep someone they love. In a crisis where every hour counts, your support can be the difference between life and death.
Donate now. Help medicine reach the hospitals that need it most.
