SAI providing food and medical care for orphans
By Jean Perez - Project Leader
In the second quarter of 2023, SAI's Food Distribution Program successfully provided a total of 12,580 nutritious and sustainable meals to 5 orphanages in Venezuela. We have worked tirelessly over the past three months to supply cornmeal, oatmeal, spaghetti, wheat flour, rice, black beans, protein sources such as eggs and tuna, and various types of fruits (bananas, watermelon, papaya, and pineapple) and vegetables (onions, tomatoes, potatoes, and carrots). Our support has been felt by the 291 orphans who count on us for their sustenance.
Our medical program for orphans also provides free, high-quality healthcare services to ensure that all children stay healthy and strong. Our team of doctors offers medical care, vitamins, and medications for this purpose.
Despite the significant economic and political difficulties that Venezuela faces, we are determined to improve the lives of these children, bring smiles to their faces, and build a brighter future for the orphans. With your help, we can make a difference together. Thank you for your continued support—become a monthly donor and contribute to improving the lives of orphans.
